Ingredients

For the matcha smoothie with mint

  • 125 g ripe honey melon with green pulp (without seeds)
    about 5 fresh mint leaves
  • 75 ml apple juice
  • 50 ml buttermilk or 50 g natural yoghurt (1.5% fat)
  • 1 teaspoon matcha tea powder
  • 1 teaspoon liquid honey
  • chilled mineral water
  • ice cubes

Instructions

The green tea powder is suitable for numerous mixed drinks. We present two variants, one with mint and one with banana. Here’s the recipe with mint.

Step 1

Finely dice the melon.

Step 2

Puree with mint, apple juice, buttermilk or yogurt, tea powder and honey in a blender.

Add some mineral water if you like.

Step 3

Pour into a glass. Serve with ice cubes.

Tip: Soy or almond milk are also suitable instead of buttermilk.
