Fasting programs
We recommend two fasting programs that you can easily do at home.
Ideally, it would be best to not have to work or cook for others during this time.
While it is beneficial to dedicate yourself to cleansing fully, it is not compulsory. Both programs are easy and convenient, allowing you to integrate them into a regular working schedule.
Yes, it is pricy, but then most superior quality products are.
Zencleanz
Why we love the Zencleanz RAINBOW (7-day detox)
- It is easy to follow; everything is outlined for you.
- It is based on enzymes, which are important and effective cleansing aids.
- It is gentle and doesn’t cause severe detox reactions.
- The program is designed to address the entire gastrointestinal tract and the liver/gallbladder.
- If you are new to cleansing, you can also consume raw foods or soups and still achieve great results.
- It is beautifully presented and encourages a clean lifestyle.
Additional Recommendations:
To maximize cleansing results, we recommend having two colonics: one on the morning you start the cleanse and one at the end.
Yes, it is pricey, but superior quality products often are.
Master Cleanse
Why we love the master cleanse:
- It is simple and easy.
- You can premix and carry it with you.
- It is inexpensive.
Additional Recommendations:
AIM Herbal Fiberblend:
- Start with 1 tsp and increase by 1 tsp every 4 days, up to 3 tsp, 3 times per day. Adding AIM Herbal Fiberblend can reveal the shape of your colon and eliminate ropes and worms.
Activated Zeolite Powder with Humic/Fulvic:
- Mix 1/4 tsp in 200 ml of water, 3 times a day. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes while you drink your Fiberblend, then drink the Zeolite mixture afterward.
Colonics:
- Have 2 colonics per week of cleansing.
How to Prepare the Master Cleanse:
- Mix 300 ml of water (hot or cold), 30 ml of lemon juice (approximately one small lemon), 30 ml of maple syrup, and as much cayenne pepper as you can handle. You can drink this up to 6 times per day.
- Note: Brush your teeth after each drink, as the lemon juice can be harsh on your teeth.
Originally, the cleanse was designed for 40 days, but even one day of the cleanse is beneficial.
Do this before Fasting!
What to Do Before Any Cleanse or Fast:
Complete the pH Test and Build the Alkaline Reserve
Excerpts taken from “Cleanse and Purify Thyself” by Richard Anderson
How to Test Your pH:
This three-part pH test helps indicate an electrolyte deficiency, which could inhibit the cleansing process and cause unnecessary or harmful reactions. If you do not pass the pH test, you can still do a mild cleanse, but it is essential to have a full alkaline electrolyte reserve before fasting. You will need pH papers, a pen or pencil, paper, and one lemon. The tests must be done at least two hours after meals.
Part #1 – The Saliva Test
Thoroughly wet the end of a small strip of pH paper with your saliva and compare its color to the nearest color indicated on the pH paper dispenser. Record the date and the results.
Interpreting Part #1
- 6.0 or below: Indicates a seriously depleted electrolyte condition. You must replenish your alkaline reserve before cleansing, fasting, or strenuous exercise. DO NOT EXERCISE STRENUOUSLY! Perform Part #2.
- 6.1 – 6.3: Indicates depletion, which may not be serious but still requires attention. Perform Part #2.
- 6.4 – 6.8: A very good sign. Perform Part #2.
- 6.9 or higher: Something may have interfered with the reading, such as stress. Retest in one hour. If the result remains the same, it indicates psychological or metabolic stress. Perform Part #2.
Part #2 – The Lemon Test
Immediately after the saliva test, squeeze the juice of half a lemon (30 ml) into 60 ml of water and drink without sweeteners. Swish the juice in your mouth once before swallowing. Wait 60 seconds, then take six saliva readings with the pH papers. Record each reading. At least one of the last three readings must show a passing result to pass this part of the test.
Interpreting Part #2
- 8 or higher: You passed. This indicates the liver has stored adequate electrolytes to buffer the acids in the mouth. If the saliva reading in Part #1 was between 6.4 and 6.8, and you passed the lemon test, it is safe to cleanse or fast. Proceed to Part #3.
- 7.5 – 8.0: You barely passed and may cleanse, but your electrolyte reserve is not fully charged. Increase your reserve during a milder cleanse.
- 7.0 – 7.4: You have some reserve of alkaline minerals but not enough. Increase your electrolyte reserve during milder cleansing. Do not progress to deeper phases until your reading is above 7.5.
- 6.9 or below, but higher than the reading in Part #1: There is minimal reserve. You are moving towards a chronic condition. Use mild cleansing until you pass the pH test. Expert health practitioner support is advised.
Part #3 – The Urine Test
Devote a day to eating only vegetables and their juices (100% alkaline-forming foods). The next morning, wet the pH paper in a mid-stream of urine and record your result.
Interpreting Part #3
- 7.0 or above: You passed. Your body has an extra electrolyte reserve.
- 6.5 – 6.9: Indicates some depletion but not serious. Increase your electrolytes during milder cleanses.
- 5.7 – 6.4: Depletion is more serious. Acid accumulation is greater than your alkaline reserve. Focus on replenishing your electrolyte storehouse before cleansing.
- 5.6 or below: Indicates severe depletion. Do not attempt cleansing or fasting, only do very mild cleansing. Chronic or degenerative disease may have already developed.

If you did not pass the Test
Those who did not pass the pH test should stop eating acidic foods and eat mostly vegetables, particularly those high in organic electrolytes: sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Drink plenty of fresh organic juices. Use natural electrolyte supplements. Use only mild cleansing until you pass all three parts of the test. You can begin fasting once you have built up your alkaline reserves and passed the entire pH test.
Note: During cleansing, the body removes stored acids, making urine more acidic. Checking urine pH during this time won’t indicate your true electrolyte status. However, Part #2 (the lemon test) should remain accurate.
Rebuilding the Alkaline Reserve
- Use a water alkalizer like the ZENKI stick or ZAZEN water filter.
- Drink one lemon in warm water with one drop of CPTG Lemon oil in the morning.
- Eliminate all acid-forming foods.
- Consume only alkaline-forming foods.
- Eat organically grown food; commercially grown foods are deficient in minerals and other nutrients.
- Drink about 1 liter of fresh or dried vegetable juice daily, especially carrot, celery, beet, and kale.
- Take natural electrolyte supplements.
- Drinking vegetable broth is excellent for building electrolyte levels.
- Proper diet is crucial for rebuilding the alkaline reserve.
Note: Grains, legumes, and cooked roots like potatoes will slow the cleansing process. Dairy products and meat can hinder the cleansing process.
