Ayurveda is an ancient program of healthful living for the purpose of well being. It’s origins date back thousands of years and are centred around 8 core disciplines, namely; aromatherapy, herbal or distilled oil medicines, yoga, massage, meditation, energy balancing, acupuncture, and diet.
Ayurveda practitioners believe that there are three distinct body types all with different characteristics. All requiring different health and treatment regimes.
Vata – Thin anxious types with restless minds.
Pitta – Strong active types with alert minds.
Kapha – Large calm types active minds.
