Holistic GP

Holistic General Practitioners are medically trained and registered doctors of medicine who utilize the ideals, principles and practices of Holistic medicine as a complimentary treatment regime to their medical practice.

Holistic Medicine

Holistic Medicine

Holistic medicines core principles are founded in prevention. Optimal health is integrated by conventional and complimentary treatments and therapies. The holistic practitioner defines safe and appropriate diagnosis and treatment of disease and illness as any form of treatment or analysis that takes into consideration the whole body. This includes emotions, mind, body and spirit. The modality focuses on patient education and participation in the healing process. Factoring anatomy, physiology, nutrition, environment, emotion, spirit and lifestyle elements into the fabric of good health and well being.

Holistic Biocompatible Dentist

Holistic Biocompatible Dentist

Holistic dentistry also called biological dentistry, biologic dentistry, alternative dentistry, unconventional dentistry, or biocompatible dentistry is the equivalent of complementary and alternative medicine for dentistry. Holistic dentistry emphasizes approaches to dental care said to consider dental health in the context of the patient’s entire physical as well as emotional or spiritual health in some cases. Although the holistic dental community is in its practices and approaches, common threads include strong opposition to the use of amalgam in materials in dental fillings, nonsurgical approaches to gum disease, and the belief that root canals may endanger systemic health of the patient through the spread of trapped dental bacteria to the body. Many dentists who use these terms also regard water fluoridation unfavorably.

Holistic Biocompatible Dentistry ( HBD )operates in a different way to modern dentistry. This is because HBD takes a holistic view to health and well being as part of the practitioners mandate. HBD embraces the mind, body and spirit as essential parts of the healing process and believe that they serve equally in healing.

The HBD practitioner believes that toxins and bacteria are contained and stored in the dental region of the body for a purpose and that many forms of surgery and traditional dental treatment cause disruptions of this delicate chemical balance. That inturn, the spread of these toxins and bacteria can be unwittingly released into other areas of the body subjecting the patient to diverse maladies.

It is this idea which is at the core of HBD’s dismissal of the use of fluoride or amalgam fillings. Because introducing these items will change the natural dental chemistry which exists to achieve good bodily function and general health and well being.

Compounding Chemist

Compounding Chemist

Compounding is a term used to describe the act of preparing personalized and customized medications to meet specific patient needs. Practitioners mix individual ingredients together in the specific strengths and dosages required by the patient.

Compounding chemists are much different to most chemists in that most pharmacies dispense pre manufactured bulk medicines. Manufactured with a one size fits all mentality and not talking into consideration allergens or other adverse patient reactions.

The colonic was one of the best experience I’ve ever had. Ela was absolutely fantastic. She is very gentle and really professional. I was feeling at ease knowing I was in perfect hands at that time. Later on I was given some good advice about a liver cleanse.
