The Running Chicken

A chicken walks into a library, hops up to the counter, and clucks, “Book, book!”

The librarian is puzzled but gives the chicken a book.

The chicken tucks it under its wing and runs out. An hour later, it’s back, drops the book on the counter and clucks, “Book, book, book!”

The librarian gives it three books this time.

Intrigued, the librarian decides to follow the chicken and finds it giving the books to a frog.

The frog looks at her and says, “Read-it, read-it, read-it.”
