Train Delay Confusion

People were waiting at a small train station when a man put up a sign regarding their train: “30-Minute Delay.”

Curious, they inquired, “What happened?”

The man replied, “The train went off the rails.”

Perplexed, they further inquired, “How long will that take to fix?”

The man responded, “Quite a few hours.”

Puzzled, they asked, “So why put up a sign saying it would take 30 minutes?”

The man shrugged and replied, “It’s the only sign we have.”
