We didn’t heat the fruit to make this delicious jam, so all the vital nutrients were preserved. We also only used 1 tablespoon of apple syrup as a sweetener, but despite this, or perhaps because of this, this jam tastes fantastic!
Step 1
Roughly chop the apple pieces; grate ⅓ teaspoon of orange peel, and squeeze out all the juice.
Soak the chopped apple pieces in the orange juice for about 15 minutes.
Then mix in a blender with 250g blackberries, ⅓ teaspoon of orange zest, 1 tablespoon of apple syrup, ⅓ teaspoon of allspice,, and ⅓ teaspoon of vanilla until you reach the desired consistency.
Pour into a sealable container.
The apple-blackberry jam will keep in the fridge for about 5 days.
