We blend zesty lemons and pungent garlic into a refreshing tonic that supports heart health, helps clear arteries, and may lower cholesterol—simple, natural, and surprisingly energizing!
Step 1
Wash lemons thoroughly with fresh water.
If using thin-skinned lemons, chop them whole.
If using thick-skinned lemons, peel off the yellow outer skin, chop, and discard the thick white pith.
Separate 30 cloves of garlic (about 3 bulbs), peel roughly (a bit of skin is fine), and chop.
Step 2
In a food processor, combine:
- 3 chopped lemons
- 15 garlic cloves
- ~1 liter of water
- (Optional: Add honey for taste)
Blend until smooth.
Pour into a metal pot.
Step 3
Repeat the process with the remaining:
- 3 lemons
- 15 garlic cloves
- ~1 liter water
Pour into the same metal pot.
Step 4
Rinse blender with another 1 liter of water and pour that into the pot too.
Bring the pot to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
Strain mixture using a fine sieve into another clean pot or large bowl.
Let it drain thoroughly. Do not keep the pulp/slurry — discard it.
Step 5
Allow strained liquid to cool completely.
Strain again using a fine mesh strainer and funnel into glass bottles only.
Store in the refrigerator. Do not use plastic bottles, especially with warm liquid.
