This spread made from chickpeas and artichokes has a very pleasant texture. In addition, it is balanced, mildly spicy and fresh in taste. Be sure to try it as it only takes 15 minutes to make.
Step 1
For the spread, place the chickpeas and artichokes in a tall bowl.
Puree briefly with a hand blender so that a light structure is retained.
Step 2
Then stir in the mayonnaise, tamari and lemon juice; season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Spread the chickpea spread on the bread slices and garnish with spring onions, capers, parsley and cress.
