You can serve this creamy, aromatic garlic sauce with numerous dishes, such as potatoes, other vegetables or patties!
Step 1
Finely chop the garlic. Melt a saucepan with 60 g margarine over medium heat, then sauté the chopped garlic for 1 min.
Dust with 1 tablespoon of spelt flour and sauté with a whisk, stirring constantly, for approx. 3 min until a light roux is formed.
Step 2
Deglaze with 450 ml of plant milk and stir well again so that there are no lumps.
Bring the sauce to a boil and simmer, stirring constantly, for approx. 5 mins.
Season with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and salt to taste; chop the parsley and fold in.
Tip: The sauce goes well with pasta, potatoes, patties and the like. Depending on the recipe, it is enough for about 4 servings.
