For the melon salad

  • ½ Cantaloup – remove the skin and cut into wedges
  • 1 firm pear – quarter, core and cut into wedges
  • 200 g young lettuce – wash and spin dry
  • 1 handful of sprouts – rinse over a sieve and drain
  • 1 tablespoon white sesame – toast in a fat-free pan

For the sesame dressing

  • 2 tablespoons tahini paste
  • 2½ tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 ½ tbsp yacon syrup
  • 1 tbsp tamari (wheat free soy sauce)
  • Crystal salt and pepper from the mill

Instructions

This melon salad tastes exceptionally good, because grilled fruits get a wonderful roasted caramel aroma. Add a fine sesame dressing and the surprise is perfect!

Step 1

For the sesame dressing, put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Season with salt and pepper and set aside for a moment.

Step 2

Heat a grill pan;

Season the melon and pear slices lightly with salt and pepper, place in the hot pan and grill for 2 – 3 minutes on each side.

Step 3

Divide the lettuce between two plates, place the grilled slices on top and garnish with the sprouts.

Then drizzle over the dressing.

Step 4

Serve the melon salad sprinkled with roasted sesame seeds.

The colonic was one of the best experience I’ve ever had. Ela was absolutely fantastic. She is very gentle and really professional. I was feeling at ease knowing I was in perfect hands at that time. Later on I was given some good advice about a liver cleanse.
