Ingredients

For the porridge
  • 160 g apples
  • 100 g oatmeal (use gluten-free or other gluten-free flakes if desired)
  • 2 pinches of crystal salt
  • 1/3 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut blossom sugar (alternatively xylitol, erythritol or yacon syrup)
  • 400 ml oat milk (alternatively rice milk; but then do not use sweetener)

Instructions

For this fine porridge, we simply baked the topping of oatmeal and apple cubes in the oven for 10 minutes. The perfect breakfast – quick, filling and very tasty!

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180 °C convection;

Prepare a baking tray lined with baking paper. In the meantime, wash the apples, core them and cut them into 1 cm cubes.

Then for the topping, put 25 g oatmeal together with the apple cubes in a bowl and mix well with 1 pinch of salt, 1/3 tsp cinnamon and 1 tbsp sugar.

Then spread the mixture on the baking paper and bake in the oven for 10 minutes.

Step 2

In the meantime, bring a saucepan to the boil with 400 ml of oat milk and 1 pinch of salt.

Then add the remaining oatmeal and simmer for 5 minutes.

Then divide between two bowls and let cool.

Remove the topping from the oven and let it cool down a bit.

Then divide between the two bowls and enjoy.
